It’s a bittersweet day because Kevin and Max are on the final album by The Doors, the incomparable L.A. Woman. Recorded and released just a few months before Jim Morrison’s death, this album breathed new life into The Doors and could have been the beginning of a bold, new era. Unfortunately it was not meant to be.
